Patience is necessary

"Patience is necessary, and one cannot reap immediately where one has sown" Soren Kierkegaard

This can be a hard lesson to learn when we have invested so much time and energy into projects, businesses, relationships and ourselves. When ploughing our efforts into creating something and not necessarily knowing “what” rewards we can expect or "when." Like planting a seed and trying to watch the tree grow, not knowing how long it will take or which fruit it will bear.

It was approx 17 years ago when I first started my training to do deep “transformative work.” At first it was to work on myself, addressing the limiting beliefs, doubts, mental conditioning that was stopping me from living a more fulfilled life. I went on many retreats and did various disciplines; Reiki, meditation, yoga, Chi gung, Tai Chi, a Vision Quest, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Hypnotherapy... and more!

I couldn’t tell you when things really shifted for me, but all I know is that I

started being happier, healthier, empowered and fulfilled and I wanted to help other people to feel the same. That's when I decided to start working with people in earnest about 13 years ago to bring about positive transformation.

Some of the key learning's of creating an attitude and discipline of reaping the benefits of what we sow's were the following:

  • Focus on the heartfelt desires that stir your emotions or may even scare you a little. (Usually things that will make a significant difference to your life and/or to others also)

  • With the awareness that you are pulled to do something, verbalise it as an intention (ideally short and to the point)

  • Take the time to develop clarity around a Vision for bringing those intentions into reality

  • Make a "blueprint" of the specifics that you know you want, you may not have all the details in the first instance and that's o.k. the further you go on the journey the more you see.

  • Take action ASAP (even if it's small steps). Procrastination is the killer or many dreams.

Our intentions create our reality - Dr Wayne Dyer

Looking back on my journey my intentions were planted while not knowing exactly how they would manifest or how they would change me, by investing my resources feeding them.

I definitely didn’t expect to be running retreats, workshops and life changing programmes for people from all backgrounds and ages.

One thing I can say for certain is the most rewarding and empowering experiences is when I am able to"real-eyes" something that started as a desire in my heart and vision in the mind, esecially when it makes a difference to the lives of others too.

So my fellow tribe member, what desires have been stirring in your heart recently?
